Daniel J. Pool is a graduate student of Library and Information Science at the University of Oklahoma. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Liberal Arts at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. Daniel previously worked in telecommunication and financial technology fields and currently works as a librarian. He researches instructional game design for information literacy programs. He is a co-host for the Double Issue and Chapter Chaps podcasts. He helps write for and edit Tavern Tall Tales.

Daniel’s works of fiction can be found online at Weird Year Magazine, Fringe Magazine, Indigo Rising Magazine, Scarlet Sound, and Writing Raw. He edited Larks Fiction Magazine till their hiatus in 2013. He is currently writing his ‘magnum-okayist’, Cloudsea, a science-fantasy novel series about gods, wagers, and adventure.
