I got to take off this past weekend for a writers’ retreat with folks from Tavern Tall Tales. It was a bit of an adventure. We talked shop, swapped stories, and gave each other writing/publishing advice. The whole weekend was a great get away.

There are many talents of modern creativity that are difficult for me even decades into the craft. One of my glaring personal hardships is having trouble finishing projects. In writing this usually means I have about twenty-to-one “chapter 1s” versus “the ends”. I’ll hit a spot where I don’t know my next move or have trouble continuing and figure some space will help me focus… Sometimes for several years. This week I’ve been on a roll though.
Upcoming Projects – Spring 2024
Hello and howyadoings, gentle readers! I’ve been a lot more active in my writing recently. It’s not much but I have already immensely enjoyed this little ritual and plan to continue it. That tradition? Reading manga for New Year’s.
Sooner Con & Editing for Summer 2023
I made my first trip to Sooner Con his summer. Riding high off of actually writing again, I spent a lot of my time in panels listening to professional writers’ advice. It was a great time to reinvigorate myself to finish a few of my projects. Also, I am going to be editing the next few issues of Tavern Tall Tales, so I’ll have an opportunity to put some of what I learned to work.
